The Smoky Mountain Sports Complex strives to be the premier youth sports facility in our region.  Our goal is to offer the athletes, their parents and the spectators an experience that sets the standard in youth competitive sports.  We not only want our participants to become better athletes but also learn life skills and values that will ultimately make them better citizens.

The Smoky Mountain Sports Complex is a 32,000 square-foot multi-purpose facility which consists of

• Four Basketball Courts
• Six Volleyball courts
• Snack Bar/Grill with dining area
• HD TV’s throughout so spectators can keep up with their favorite sports
• Arcade
• Retail space for sporting goods/shirts/shoes

The basketball courts are all high school regulation size courts (84’x50’)

Courts are separated by large custom-made divider curtains. These help reduce noise from adjacent courts and also prevent balls from rolling onto other playing surfaces.

All 8 basketball goals are the T-Rex 96 Main Court model. Goals are portable and adjustable from 7 to 10 feet in height.  Backboard extension is 96 inches from base.  This limits player collisions with the base of the basketball goal.

The flooring used in the facility is Taraflex Sports Flooring.  Taraflex flooring is designed exclusively for sporting facilities like this one.  Taraflex flooring provides over 35% shock absorption and over 98% accurate ball bounce meeting all NCAA requirements.  Taraflex flooring has been used for indoor events in past Olympic Games for over 25 years.
